Downtown Broadway Sewer Project
Improvements Below Result in Small Inconveniences Above
As part of the project scope, the Contractor will perform construction of an interconnection between 18 inch and 30 inch truck sewers and relocating storm drain piping in the Broadway/Promenade intersection area.  The contractor began work on March 10 and is expected to complete work by April 2, barring any inclement weather or unforeseen complications.  Please note that there will be a one lane closure on Broadway starting from east of Pacific Avenue to Pine Avenue and a two lane closure on Broadway starting from east of Pine Avenue to Waite Court at all times during the construction.  Your patience and cooperation during construction is greatly appreciated.

Councilmember Lowenthal's office attended a project management meeting and conveyed concerns related to workers staging before 7:00 am, heavy equipment start times, driveway and alley access and traffic flow.  We were assured that the contractor is very aware of these concerns and will try to make every effort to complete the work as quickly as possible.

Daily construction hours are from 7:00 am - 4:00 pm.  Should you have any questions related to the project, do not hesitate to contact Ryan Walker at (714) 742-6086 or Ms. Jan Vu (LBWD) at (562) 570-2342.  In addition, you may contact the Second Council District office at (562) 570-6684.
