West Coast Choppers Place
Yesterday was a great day for Long Beach, as we officially re-named a small portion of Oregon Avenue: “West Coast Choppers Place,” in honor of the iconic Long Beach shop and its owner, Jesse James.
Jesse’s business, West Coast Choppers, has been a staple to the Anaheim corridor and has attracted international attention to Long Beach. Perhaps most importantly, Jesse and his wife Sandra Bullock have also been huge supporters of our schools, donating generously to the Long Beach Education Foundation and our local Long Beach Rescue Mission.
At yesterday’s event, where Jesse joked and signed autographs, Jesse made it clear that Long Beach is the permanent home of West Coast Choppers. I’m proud and grateful that Jesse’s shop is in our community, and I encourage you to stop by, see the great new signs, and check out the world famous styles on display at West Coast Choppers, a truly unique Long Beach business. And if you are hungry, stop by and have a burger at Jesse's Cisco Burger next door.
For more coverage of the event, you can visit the Press-Telegram, LBPOST.com, LBReport.com, or the West Coast Choppers Blog.
