Notice of Availability of Third Proposed Substantial Amendment to the 2008 - 2009 Action Plan for the Community Development Block Grant Program Funding Under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (CDBG-R)
 

Notice is hereby given that the City of Long Beach has developed the third Proposed Substantial Amendment to the 2008-2009 Action Plan for Community Development Block Grant Program Funding under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (CDBG-R).

The City is committed to addressing the goals of the Recovery Act by funding projects that assist those low-income individuals who are most impacted by the recession while also modernizing and expanding infrastructure, improving energy efficiency, and preserving and creating jobs. The City is seeking community comments on the Substantial Amendment.

Copies of the third Proposed Substantial Amendment are now available to the public for a 7-day community review period ending June 1, 2009. Copies of the draft amendment will be available to the public online, at the Neighborhood Resources Center (425 Atlantic Avenue, Long Beach, CA 90802), and Main Public Library (101 Pacific Avenue, Long Beach, CA 90802) .
