Retail Sales Recruiment
The Pacific Gateway Workforce Investment Network’s Career Transition Center is hosting a recruitment event for Advantage Sales and Marketing currently recruiting for Retail Sales Merchandisers (RSM).

RSM are responsible for servicing and selling to retail accounts within the assigned territory.  Ideal candidate is self-motivated, ambitious, and driven to succeed this person should also have strong communication skills, excellent organizational skills, and have the ability to work independently. If you are interested in Advantage Sales and Marketing please come August 15 from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Career Transition Center.

Required Job Qualifications:

  • Ability to complete daily procedures and responsibilities without direct supervision
  • Demonstrate good judgment and show respect for others
  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Must have: a valid driver license, automobile insurance, Social Security Card, and Internet Access
  • Must have a clean DMV record with no more than one point

How to Apply:

Step 1:  PACIFIC GATEWAY WORKFORCE INVESTMENT NETWORK REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED PRIOR TO ATTENDING THE RECRUITMENT.  To save time, you may pre-register at the Career Transition Center, 3447 Atlantic Ave., or Center for Working Families, 1900 Atlantic Ave, Long Beach, and CA. Must obtain application and fill out first three pages prior to the recruitment on August 15, 2008

Bring any combination of the following documents with you to register: State ID / Driver’s License AND Social Security Card OR School ID Card (with birth date) AND Social Security Card OR School ID Card (without birth date) AND Social Security Card AND birth certificate OR U.S. Passport AND any proof of Social Security Number (Social Security card, school printout). Please bring your unexpired Permanent Resident Card (Green card) if applicable. Males born on or after January 1, 1960, must be registered with the Selective Service, for information call (847) 688 –3117 or www.sss.gov

Step 2: Meet the employer on August 15 from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Career Transition Center, 3447 Atlantic Ave, Long Beach, CA 90807. Please bring: the application with first three pages completed, CDL, Social Security Card, a copy of your Auto Insurance declaration page, and resume with you t the recruitment. Dress to impress and be ready to interview.
