The Arts Council for Long Beach and the City of Long Beach offer six grant programs that foster a vibrant arts community that generates jobs or revenue for creative entrepreneurs, interest for tourists, and enjoyment and civic pride for residents.
Arts Council for Long Beach is expected to award $300,000 in grants during the 2008-09 grants cycle. Deadlines begin April 17, 2008. To find out more about the Grant Programs, including what is required of applicants, how to apply for Arts Council grants, writing grants, and how grant applications are evaluated, attend a free grants workshop conducted by the Arts Council.
