Effective January 1, 2008, ALL vendors, companies or individuals who do any work for compensation in the Long Beach Marina must have a Marine Vendor Registration Card (Card) in their possession. This Card will act as authorization to be on the docks. Please be sure any person you hire to do work on your vessel obtains a Card.
The Card can be obtained at the Shoreline Marina Office, 450 E. Shoreline Dr., Long Beach, CA 90802, beginning December 4, 2007, Tuesday through Thursday, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. There is no cost to the vendor to obtain a Card. The vendor must provide a current copy of their City of Long Beach Business License; complete a Request for Vendor Permit, and a Vendor Registration Card Application for each employee that will be doing work in the marinas. Each employee will be required to come to the office to have their picture taken for the Card. The applications are available at the Shoreline Marina Office, or on the Marina website http://www.longbeach.gov/park/marine/downloads.asp
