Opportunity to Help Victims of the Southern California Wildfires

LONG BEACH, CA – OCTOBER 24, 2007 - "While Goodwill is not a relief organization, we realize many individuals will wish to contribute used clothing and/or household items to help those who have been affected by these wildfires," said Janet McCarthy-Wilson, President and CEO of GoodwillSolac.

Goods donations can be made at any of GoodwillSolac’s 15 retail stores and 8 attended donation centers throughout the City of Long Beach and the cities of southern Los Angeles County (south of Rosecrans Ave.). The value of your donation will be provided by the American Red Cross, Long Beach Chapter into a free voucher good at any of GoodwillSolac’s stores for purchases of family clothing and other household goods.

Goodwill, Serving The People of Southern Los Angeles County is a community resource providing job training and employment placement services to individuals with barriers to employment.
