GANG MEMBERS SOUGHT ON DRUG TRAFFICKING CHARGES
On June 14, 2007, detectives from the Long Beach Police Department along with agents from the Drug Enforcement Administration announced federal criminal indictments against several known gang members for their involvement in a drug trafficking ring. Through the sale of illegal narcotics, a notorious gang financed their criminal activities, which terrorized the citizens of Long Beach and surrounding areas.
The suspects pictured above (36-year-old Mark Tyrell Fowlkes and 29-year-old Eddie Lee Smith, both of Long Beach) are still outstanding in relation to the aforementioned indictment. The Long Beach Police Department is asking for the publicís help in locating these suspects. These suspects may be utilizing fictitious California identification cards in an attempt to evade police. Further, these suspects are to be considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached.
