Long Beach 2030 Community Festival

On Saturday June 9, at Jordan High School, 6500 Atlantic Avenue, the Planning and Building Department will host the third of five community festivals to present information and get your input on the future of the Long Beach community.

Called Long Beach 2030, this public gathering is designed to share City planning information and to gather community insights on how the city should grow and change over the next 20 years. It's a big job and we need your help!

The festivals will all be open houses with food & beverages, Long Beach planning information, "create your city" game, and some "big city planning issues" for adults to wrestle with from 9 - 12 on Saturday mornings. Families, seniors, business operators, and all concerned citizens are welcomed and encouraged to join in the fun!

Let's talk about how to make Long Beach a more liveable and healthy place for us all. It's your City. It's your neighborhood. Come help us plan your future!

Additional Community Festivals will be held on June 16 and 23rd in other parts of the city if you cannot attend on the 9th.

For questions about the festivals or the project, call the LB2030 Hotline at (562) 570-PLAN (7526) or visit www.LongBeach2030.org.
