“Who knows better than the people that live in our community about what needs to be fixed?” offers Schipske, who is also hoping to use the Advisory Council as an opportunity to educate constituents about the massive amount of work that needs to be completed in the 5th District.  “We have the highest percentage of damaged sidewalks in the 5th District, so we have a lot of work to do,” said Schipske.

The Public Works Department will present to residents the current condition of sidewalks and streets in the 5th District.

The first meeting will be at the El Dorado Senior Center (2800 N. Studebaker Rd.) which is adjacent to the 5th District Neighborhood Office and will be followed by regular monthly meetings.
