In an effort to combat the growing housing foreclosure crisis, the City of Long Beach sought and obtained federal funding from the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Neighborhood Stabilization Program. Through NSP the City will acquire, rehabilitate, and resell abandoned and foreclosed residential properties in NSP eligible areas.
