Councilman Dee Andrews Invites Residents to the Me and My Shadow Family Fun Day In the past decade, we have learned a great deal about early childhood needs and how strengthening the relationships between adults and kids promote healthy social and emotional development.  On May 11, 2013, in celebration of National Children's Mental Health Day, Councilman Dee Andrews and Project ABC will co-host "Me and My Shadow Family Fun Day"- a community event designed for caregivers, care providers, family and community members working with or parenting children 0-5 years old.  The event will run from 12pm-4pm at Martin Luther King Park, 1950 Lemon Avenue, Long Beach, CA.
