Family Night Walk - $5
What do the animals do at night? Find out on a naturalist-led exploration of the darkened trails of the Nature Center.
Tuesdays, 7-9pm - Nov 12.
Enjoy the beauty of the Nature Center's 7-acre California Native Plant Restoration Area. Stroll the trail as it winds around shady oaks and fragrant sages. A naturalist will be on hand to answer questions.

Celebrate the power and wisdom of storytelling from the Long Beach Storytellers. Ages 12 and up.

Bird Watching 101 - $10
Interested in birding, but don't know where to start? Discover all of the basics in this informative class. No experience necessary. Binoculars are available to borrow. Class includes materials and a pocket bird guide to take home. Ages 16 and up.

Become a scientist for the day! Help count our local feathery friends and learn more about why they are so important. The data collected helps scientists understand more about bird populations and migration. No experience necessary. Free program.
