Students will explore this amazing marine environment through hands-on activities, and learn what makes this wetland habitat special. Morning sessions. Programs for ages 6-8 years. $45 per week.

Set Sail on a pirate adventure at Colorado Lagoon to search for buried treasure! Learn to survive on a deserted beach, meet the creatures that lurk along the shore and create art masterpieces with washed-up booty. We’ll use our maps to lead us to treasure.

SUPERHEROES OF THE ENVIRONMENT UNITE 6-8yrs • $45

Wetland habitats are disappearing. With special tools, we’ll discover the strategy of the “Pollutinators.” How do they sneak trash into the wetland? What animals does it affect? How can we stop it? We’ll beautify the wetlands, stopping pollution and saving animal’s lives!

Search for the top predators at Colorado Lagoon. We’ll start with salty water that sustains life searching for the smallest creatures to see who eats who. We’ll explore the aquatic plants, animals and birds in search of the “survivors” that make up this dynamic food web.
