Mayor Garcia Hosts “Kitty Hall” Adoption Event Tomorrow, Friday, July 8, at Long Beach City Hall

Cats and kittens up for adoption at reduced fee of $20; free spay and neuter vouchers also available

Long Beach City Hall will become “Kitty Hall” on Friday, July 8, from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm, to encourage shelter cat adoptions and promote awareness of Long Beach Animal Care Services.

Mayor Garcia will address the event at 11:30.

The public is invited to play and cuddle with the kittens and cats available for reduced fee adoption in the main lobby of “Kitty Hall.” Representatives will be available to answer questions about cat ownership and accept adoption applications. Attendees will also be able to obtain free spay and neuter vouchers, whether or not they adopt a cat.
