Study Space
Reading areas, tables, and computers are available on a first come, first served basis at all LBPL locations to provide space for you to relax, research, study, and enjoy Library materials.
Several Libraries include dedicated Study Rooms to allow for quiet or collaborative work styles.

Available Spaces
- 1 Study Room accommodating up to 4 people.
- 1 Study Room accommodating up to 8 people.
Amenities
- White boards in all rooms. Markers + eraser available upon request.
- Access to power outlets.
- White noise machines are live in the spaces.
- Floor fan
- Please do not bring food into the rooms.
- Please keep your voices down as the walls are thin.
- When you leave the room please take all of your books, papers, pencils, etc. with you.
- If you use the white board, please erase it before you leave and return markers and eraser to the Information Desk.
- Conducting business such as paid tutoring, tax preparation, counseling, etc. is not allowed in the Study Rooms.
- Study Rooms close 15 minutes before Library closing.
Requirements for Use
- Keep doors locked at all times.
- Name and total number of people in group required at the Information Desk.
- Room Rules are to be followed at all times. Rules are posted in each room.
- One hour room access guaranteed.
- One reservation per group per day.
- Special exceptions are considered for groups at the discretion of the Librarian.
How to Gain Access

Rooms can be reserved up to a week ahead of time. Call ahead or stop by the Information Desk.

Rooms close 15 minutes before Library closing.
Available Spaces
- 2 Study Rooms in Teen area, priority for Teens. Teens only after 2 PM.
- 2 Quiet Rooms in Adult area, designated for Adults.
Amenities
- Whiteboards in all rooms. Markers + erasers available upon request.
- Monitors with VGA and HDMI connection ports for laptops. Cables available to check out upon request.
Room Rules
- No food or drink in the rooms.
- Keep voices low.
- Throwing objects or marking of furniture or walls in the rooms may result in denial of future use.
- On leaving, please push in the chairs and close the door.
- Failure to maintain good behavior will result in loss of the rooms.

- All rooms are limited to no more than 6 people at a time.
- Library Card, State ID, or School ID required to use space. ID is held at Information Desk while space is in use. IDs required and held for all those using Study Rooms. Quiet Rooms require ID for one person who claims responsibility for groups.
- Room Rules are to be followed at all times. A List of Rules will be provided for you when you check in at the Information Desk in exchange for identification.
- One hour room access guaranteed. If no one needs the room you may be able to stay longer.
- One reservation per group per day.
- Special exceptions are considered for groups at the discretion of the Librarian.
How to Gain Access
- Inquire at Information Desk with Library Card, State or School ID. Your identification will be held while the room is in use.
- Rooms are first come, first served. Reservations are taken only for next available room.
- Rooms are available anytime the Library is open.
