Southwest Airlines announced today that it will begin daily, nonstop flights from Long Beach Airport (LGB) to Austin and Phoenix. The move significantly enhances nationwide connections and nearly doubles the number of Southwest's one-stop destinations from LGB.
Long Beach Airport (LGB) is open and operational for essential travel, air cargo, and general aviation operations. LGB is working closely with the Long Beach Health and Human Services Department and following the State health order to ensure the health and safety of all passengers and employees.
Long Beach, CA - As part of its ongoing safety precautions, Long Beach Airport (LGB) requires all passengers, employees and visitors to wear a facial covering while on airport property. The policy is in line with the City of Long Beach’s current “Safer at Home” order and guidance from public health experts.
Long Beach Airport (LGB) has announced that Southwest Airlines, Hawaiian Airlines and Delta Air Lines have been offered seven permanent air carrier flight slots and three supplemental flight slots.
