| |  |  |  Gas Specifications and StandardsThe Engineering and Construction Bureau builds and maintains the underground pipeline system that delivers natural gas supplies to Long Beach and Signal Hill residents and businesses. It designs and installs natural gas pipelines; monitors gas pressure, flow and quality and provides timely response to gas pipeline emergencies. The Engineering Unit works with the developers, contractors and homeowners to assist in the process of installing quality gas systems.

ENERGY CONSERVATION CREDITS
A $500 per dwelling unit credit will be applied towards construction costs for LEED certified buildings.
A $1,000 credit will be applied towards construction costs for LEED certified non-residential buildings.
