California Building Standards Code

Title 24 of the California Building Standards Code serves as the basis for the design and construction of buildings in California. Improved safety, sustainability, maintaining consistency, new technology and construction methods, and reliability are paramount to the development of building codes.

California Building Standards Commission Information Bulletins

The California Building Standards Commission periodically distributes general information bulletins to help clarify issues and resolve inconsistencies in the application of building standards laws and rules.

City of Long Beach Building Standards Code

State Fire Marshal's Office Code Interpretations Committee

The State Fire Marshal's Office established the Code Interpretations Committee (CIC) to research requests for code interpretations.
