MAYOR’S FUND FOR THE HOMELESS – DONATE ONLINE NOW

Your contribution to the Mayor’s Fund will make a real difference and give individuals and families in our community the support they need to break the cycle of homelessness.

NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS - 2017 CONTINUUM OF CARE GRANT PROGRAM: HOMELESS ASSISTANCE - NEW PERMANENT - PERMANENT SUPPORTIVE HOUSING PROJECT

On July 14, 2017, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) issued a Notice of Funding Availability for the Continuum of Care Program.

The City of Long Beach is issuing a Request for Proposals from private non-profit organizations to participate in a Consolidated application to HUD.

Applications will be available beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 7, 2017.  A compact disk (CD) containing the application materials can be picked up at the Department of Health and Human Services, 2525 Grand Avenue, Room 235, Long Beach, CA  90815. 

No paper copies of the application will be distributed.  Project Applications are due by 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 16, 2017.  No late applications will be accepted.

2017 Continuum of Care Application - On September 8, 2017, the Long Beach Continuum of Care (CoC) Board approved the final Priority Listing for the 2017 CoC Program Application submission. Comprised of 25 projects, the application totals to $8,480,986 in CoC funds. The application is available on the City of Long Beach Homeless Services Division website.
