The CoC Board has seven (7) seats up for election for the following stakeholder groups: 2 non-profit, 1 education, 1 faith based organizations, 1 Homeless Services Advisory Committee, 1 business improvement district, and 1 private agencies. Interested parties may nominate themselves or a recommended stakeholder by sending a professional biography to HomelessServices@longbeach.gov by August 28th to qualify for the election at the September 5th CoC Board meeting.
Professional biographies will be accepted on an ongoing basis until the vacancies are filled. Please share this opportunity with community stakeholders that share our mission to end homelessness. Eligible parties must have one (1) year of active CoC General Membership in Long Beach. Please review the Board Roles and Responsibilities handout for more information.
Continuum of Care Program Resources
2019 Continuum of Care Application
On September 5, 2019, the Long Beach Continuum of Care (CoC) Board approved the final Priority Listing for the 2019 CoC Program Application submission. Comprised of 24 projects, the application totals to $9,413,328 in CoC funds. The application will be available on the City of Long Beach Homeless Services Division website after September 30, 2019.
