Food Facility Inspection Food Facility Inspection Program Inspection Process Restaurant Closures Food Borne Illness Investigation Mobile Food Vehicle Inspection Temporary Food Facilities Frequently Asked Questions	The program reviews the plans for all new and remodeled food facilities within the City of Long Beach to ensure that these facilities are constructed in accordance with the California Retail Food Code (Health & Safety Code) and other applicable requirements. California State Law requires plans to be submitted to and approved by the Health Department prior to the start of any construction on all new or remodeled food facilities.
