Maternal Child Health Access Programs assists women in obtaining early and consistent care for pregnancies and for their children through outreach, and assistance with Medi-Cal enrollment and troubleshooting. In addition there are 8 public health nurses working within a variety of these MCAH Programs providing case management to high-risk infants and pregnant women, by providing education, referrals, advocacy, and support.
