Medi-Cal Outreach (MCO) Program |
|
Since 1998, the Medi-Cal Outreach (MCO) Program has been working in collaboration with five community partners to provide education and assistance to families about free and low-cost health insurance options and services in Long Beach. MCO staff members work with schools, churches, temples, small businesses, community-based organizations, parent centers, community clinics, WIC and Head Start to help lower-income and working families and adults increase their access to needed health care coverage and health care referrals. Primary services include: |

Our meetings are held the 4th Thursday of every month from 9:00-10:30 AM. Collaborative members will receive updates on Medi-Cal, Healthy Families, Healthy Kids, Kaiser Permanente Cares for Kids, and other community health resources and services. This is also a great forum for members to network with Health Department Officials, school district representatives, community workers, community-based organizations, community clinics, health plan partners, and Certified Application Assistors. We look forward to seeing you there!
