Sand & Bags for Upcoming Rain

Rain is on its way! Please be advised that only certain Long Beach Fire Department stations (listed below) have the sand available. Long Beach Residents may request bags from their local fire station.
Residents are required to provide identification to pick up a maximum of 10 bags. Residents are also adivised to bring their own shovel or tool when collecting sand at the locations below. It is illegal to pick up sand from the beaches.
Sand is currently available at the following fire stations:

- Fire Station 12, 1199 Artesia Blvd., 90805
- Fire Station 13, 2475 Adriatic Ave., 90810
- Fire Station 14, 5200 Eliot St., 90803
