Winter Rains Could Cause Flooding

Sandbagging

Residents of Long Beach may request up to 10 sandbags from a local Fire Station with proof of their Long Beach residency. Sand will be available, during storms, at Fire Stations 7, 12, 13 and 14.  Sand is always available at the Public Works/San Francisco Yard, 1601 San Francisco Ave.; or for a slight fee, at local hardware stores. It is illegal to dump or remove sand from the beach.
