Medical Marijuana Collective Permit Information

On March 23, 2010, the Long Beach City Council approved the recommendation and adopted Ordinance No. ORD-10-0007.  The Recommendation being, to declare the ordinance amending the Long Beach Municipal Code by adding Chapter 5.87 to implement the State Compassionate Use Act and State Medical Marijuana Program Act.  The Ordinance was signed on April 1, 2010 and went into effect May 2, 2010.  Please review the relevant documents that provide information and assistance in the application process.

Lottery winners who were eliminated due to the park buffers may apply for a refund.

On November 16, 2010, the Long Beach City Council approved the recommendation for
an additional 1,000 ft buffer from parks.

The application re-submittal period closes Sunday, August 15, 2010. Due to Sunday being a non-business day, the deadline has been extended to Monday, August 16, 2010, 4:30 p.m., PST.
