El Dorado Archery Field

Release Date: 2015-07-21

The Archery Fields at El Dorado Park are a wonderful asset to those who come from all over the community to learn about and to practice archery. Earlier this month, forty volunteers from El Dorado Archers, Long Beach Bowhunters, Santa Fe Trails Archers, South Bay Archers, Joy Lee Archery and concerned archers that regularly use the public range came together to help replace the bales. The bales were donated by the Easton Foundation and the bailing tools and materials were paid for by the El Dorado Archers.

Archery is a great activity for families, and the El Dorado Archers welcome everyone 8 years of age and older! If you are interested in learning about archery, the El Dorado Archers have classes for beginners every Saturday at the El Dorado Park Archery Field. Everyone is first required to take a Safety Class, which costs $5 and runs from 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. every weekend and sign up starts at 8:30 a.m.
