On Saturday, October 24, 2009, sometime after 1:00 a.m., Long Beach Police discovered that the tires of several police vehicles had been slashed, and are now looking for the public's help in identifying the suspect(s).  

A total of nine police vehicles, both black and whites and plain cars, that were parked at the East Police Sub-Station in designated areas along Los Coyotes Diagonal and Park Avenue were vandalized.  One civilian vehicle had also been targeted and the total damage is estimated at over $2,500. 

At this time, there is no suspect information and police urge anyone who may have information regarding this incident to contact Long Beach Police Department, Violent Crimes Detective Peter Lackovic at (562) 570-7250 immediately.
