How is sidewalk or curb repair prioritized? 

In 2000, the City completed a citywide inventory of damaged sidewalks and curbs.  A map of this 
inventory can be viewed by clicking here.  Every year, based on this map, the Engineering Bureau
of the Public Works Department makes a block-by-block comparison based on the quantity and
severity of damage.  Those blocks with the most damage are given the highest priority.  This list is
provided annually to Council District offices for final review and approval.
