In honor of the 41st anniversary of Earth Day, the City of Long Beach turned 2011 Earth Day celebration into a week of events, designed to highlight the City’s innovative green programs. The Long Beach community was invited to participate in 2011 Earth Week events and take individual actions to make every day Earth Day.
