The Citizen Police Complaint Commission

The Citizen Police Complaint Commission (CPCC) was established to provide an independent investigative commission to receive, administer and investigate allegations of misconduct against Long Beach Police Officers. The Commission was created by the vote of the Long Beach electorate in 1990, which emphasized the CPCC investigate police misconduct allegations of excessive force, false arrest and complaints with racial or sexual overtones.
