Mission Statement

HACLB's mission is to provide high quality housing assistance for Long Beach's low income households through:
  • Effectively and efficiently utilizing resources;
  • Promoting a positive image through excellent customer service and clear and open communication; and
  • Continually educating staff and clients.

The Housing Authority of the City of Long Beach, California (HACLB) provides rental assistance for decent, affordable housing to 6,000 low-income Long Beach households. These households rent privately-owned residences from 2,500 local landlords.
