Background and Experience
Ms. Vu primarily practices in the areas of real estate, municipal law, public contracts, construction law, related transactional matters, and advises various City departments including Public Works, Parks, Recreation & Marine, the Health Department, and the Housing Authority. She also advises clients and public bodies on the Brown Act and the Public Records Act.
Prior to joining the Long Beach City Attorney's Office, Ms. Vu was an associate at a medium-sized law firm located in Irvine, CA, specializing in real estate and common interest subdivision law.
Ms. Vu is admitted to the State Bar of California and United States Central District Court; and is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. She has also served as an appointed member of the Supervisory Committee of the Long Beach City Employees Federal Credit Union since 2010.
Ms. Vu received her Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School in 2002 and her Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of California at Irvine in 1999.
