(C&S), who will act as the prime consultant, to assist in implementing the QuieterHome® Program (Program). C&S has contracted with subconsultants to more efficiently administer the Program. The subconsultants for the prime consultant are: - CommuniQuest - Outreach Consultant
- Landrum & Brown - Acoustical Consultant
- Icon Planning & Design - Construction Inspection
- Semenza Engineering, Inc. - Electrical Engineer
CommuniQuest
The community outreach consultant will provide part-time staffing for the Program office and assist the prime consultant in the development of Program materials necessary to perform an effective outreach process with the community. The community outreach program developed will both inform and track input from the residences of the Program area and include key messages, theme, activities and goals. Landrum & Brown
The acoustical consultant will provide acoustical expertise in developing the overall design, provide technical assistance for the acoustical design, and perform pre- and post-acoustic testing of all participating homes. Icon Planning & Design
The construction inspection consultant will provide construction inspection services during the construction phase of the Program. Semenza Engineering, Inc.
The electrical engineer will support C&S in completing the electrical design for participating homes by evaluating the existing electrical system, and proposing changes made necessary by the other acoustical work. In many cases there will be few, if any, changes to the electrical system. In cases where new HVAC equipment is required, the electrical system may need to be upgraded in order to properly operate such equipment.
