The Avigation Easement is a legal document signed by a homeowner that acknowledges the existence of the Long Beach Airport, its aircraft operations and the right of aircraft to fly over the home, in exchange for property improvements provided by the Program.
On October 6, 2009 the Long Beach City Council and the City Attorney affirmed that homeowners participating in the Program are required to sign an Avigation Easement.
