Welcome to Long Beach Airport

Long Beach Airport serves nearly three million commercial airline passengers annually, offering direct flights throughout the United States with easy domestic and international connections. The Airport hosts Alaska Airlines, Delta Air Lines, JetBlue Airways and US Airways.

Long Beach Airport also is among the top five busiest general aviation airports in the world with 365,000 annual general aviation operations, including Life Flight donor organ and critical care patient delivery, law enforcement, and search/rescue flights. It also is a center for air cargo carriers, DHL, FedEx and UPS which transport more than 49,000 tons of goods each year.

Uniquely, Long Beach Airport is one of the few airports that continues to be an important aircraft manufacturing and flight-training center, hosting industry giants, The Boeing Company, Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation and Flight Safety. .

TSA Simplify Travel Advisory: The Long Beach Airport continues to operate on threat level High. Travelers departing from LGB are advised to arrive no less than one and 1/2 hours before their scheduled departures. Passengers can greatly affect their experience at the airport by preparing in advance, by packing liquids, gels and aerosols in checked baggage whenever possible, using 3-1-1 for carry-ons, arriving early and ensuring they are not traveling with prohibited items. JetBlue Adds Service from LGB to SFO
JetBlue Airways today announces plans to launch new premium low-fare service this fall between San Francisco International Airport and its West Coast focus city in Long Beach, Calif. JetBlue's three daily flights will be the only nonstop service from SFO to Long Beach, the uncomplicated and uncrowded Los Angeles airport. Two daily flights will begin October 18 while a third daily flight will be added November 2, all aboard JetBlue's roomy 100-seat EMBRAER 190 jet.
