Dr. Loren Eslinger is the veterinary consultant for Long Beach Animal Care Services, offering advice on the care and treatment of the impounded dogs and cats.

Dr. Eslinger is a 1984 graduate of the University of California School of Veterinary Medicine at Davis campus. She is a member of AVMA, CVMA, and SCVMA.

Prior to serving as the managing license for the Long Beach Animal Care Services, Dr. Eslinger owned and managed a small animal veterinary practice in Belmont Shore. She was a volunteer veterinarian for the Long Beach Animal Control from 1992 to 2001. She served as commissioner on the Long Beach Board of Health and Human Services from 1998 to 2007.

Dr. Eslinger is a certified Diplomate of the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners since 1992.
