Councilwoman Stacy Mungo

Stacy Mungo was born in Long Beach and is a product of the Long Beach Unified School District (LBUSD). She is an experienced professional with a deep, personal connection to the city. Stacy attended Long Beach City College and earned a Bachelor’s in Political Science from CSU Fullerton and a Master’s in Public Administration from the University of Southern California.

Her background is diverse, and includes: working for local and state governments, successfully growing private companies, leading local non-profit organizations and volunteering for community and school associations. View full bio.

July 15, 2015 marked the first year anniversary of being elected by you to represent the Fifth District in the City of Long Beach, and I am extremely proud of the positive strides being made as we, together, strive to advance our community with each passing day.
The Archery Fields at El Dorado Park are a wonderful asset to those who come from all over the community to learn about and to practice archery. Earlier this month, forty volunteers came together to help replace the bales.
